Luke Thomas
Oral Surgery
Luke graduated with Honours in Dentistry from Newcastle University. He has extensive experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, working in departments across London and Surrey. His hospital posts as a Specialty Doctor include St George’s Hospital, a major trauma centre, and Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals. He is involved in the management of a wide range of oral surgical cases under both local and general anaesthetic, and works closely with orthodontic colleagues, providing surgical treatment such as exposure of buried teeth to facilitate orthodontic treatment.
Luke accepts referrals for both routine and complex dental extractions under local anaesthetic. He is known for his calm and compassionate manner, with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and reassurance throughout treatment. Luke is highly experienced in helping anxious patients feel at ease while delivering high-quality care.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys staying active and can often be found climbing, swimming or cycling.
